The bidirectional relationship between chronic kidney disease and atrial fibrillation does not occur in elderly female outpatients

Abstract: Introduction: The relationship between atrial fibrillation (AF) and chronic kidney disease (CKD) is bidirectional. Both diseases are characterised by high prevalence, additionally increasing with age.
