The Benslimane’s Artistic Model for Females’ Gaze Beauty: An Original Assessment Tool

Abstract: BackgroundThe aim of this paper is to analyze the aesthetic characteristics of the human females’ gaze using anthropometry and to present an artistic model to represent it: “The Frame Concept.” In this model, the eye fissure represents a painting, and the most peripheral shadows around it represent the frame of this painting. Throughout the years, the continuous growth of facial bones and their remodeling create alterations of the orbital region.…”

“…On the other hand, when the lateral third of the brow is at the same level as the middle third, the gaze looks aged; when the lateral third of the brow is lower than the middle third, the gaze may seem sad. Restoration of brow anatomy by repositioning ptotic tissues in their correct position improves the aesthetic appearance by opening the eyes and creating a youthful gaze 1 …”
