Abstract: Background: Monoclonal antibody therapy is currently an additional treatment option to reduce exacerbations and improve symptom control in patients with severe eosinophilic asthma (SEA) that is uncontrolled despite treatment with high-dose inhaled corticosteroids and long-acting beta-2 agonists.
