Abstract

septic shock patients like in the study by Wacker et al (1) should receive a daily dose of 12 g instead of 6 gr like patients not upon CRRT (2-4). It stands to reason that this confounding factor could alter the results of the study. We, therefore, suggest to repeat this study with this time adapting the dose of vitamin C in septic shock patients with CRRT.
