The Audit We Had to Have: The Economic Record, 1960–2009

Abstract: The Economic Record, one of the world's oldest economic journals, has a distinguished history. The flagship journal of the Economic Society of Australia and New Zealand was launched in 1925 and is approaching its 100th birthday. We undertake a forensic examination of the journal over the last 50 years, exploring issues like its content, most‐cited articles and most frequent contributors.
