Abstract:Objective
Studies have shown that exposure to organophosphorus pesticides (OPPs) may disrupt thyroid endocrine function in animal models and in agroforestry practitioners, leading to subclinical hyperthyroidism (SHyper). However, the relationship between exposure to OPPs and SHyper in the general population remains unclear.
