The asbestos–asbestosis exposure–response relationship: a cohort study of the general working population

Abstract

This study finds exposure-response relations between cumulative asbestos exposure and asbestosis in asbestos-exposed workers of the general working population in Denmark. The findings demonstrate that occupations outside the asbestos industry are also at risk of asbestosis.
