The background of this study is the frequent occurrence of early childhood accidents. Children as objects of protection need to be equipped with knowledge and attitudes and behaviours related to their safety. One way to avoid early childhood hazards is to increase their understanding of hazards and ways to overcome hazards through self-safety education. This study aims to describe the implementation of early childhood independent education and to find out the results of an assessment of Kindergartens in Banjar. This research is a case study with a qualitative exploratory approach. This research was conducted from July to September 2020 involving 63 children. The results showed that the method of self-safety education at Kindergartens in Banjar was the Kindergarten Watching method. This method is the result of the development of the Town Watching. The stages include Field survey, develop a map of observation, Discussion to solve the problem, and Presentation. Children can attend the process of self-safety education. However, there were still 18.60% of new children began to develop in telling the results of the description related to potential hazards. Selfsafety education at Kindergartens in Banjar can improve children's understanding of hazards and how to avoid them.

Indonesia is the most disaster-prone country in the world because it is geographically located in the ring of fire and tectonic plate confluence. Campus buildings have large occupancy of up to 10,000 students at a time, increasing their vulnerability to disasters. The 2006 Yogyakarta earthquake affected several campuses, such as soft stories and short columns. It is clarified that the movement and shifting of furniture during the earthquake caused 90% of casualties and injuries. This study aims to identify the physical characteristics of the campus in general as well as the potential for earthquake hazards, specifically in the aspects of building configuration and furniture layout. This research was conducted using the campus-watching method that allows the students to identify the risks in the campus building. This research found that the campus buildings in Indonesia generally had an elongated space configuration with O, I, T, L, and U shapes with a ratio of more than 1:2, causing a higher risk of earthquake hazards. The risk of the soft story was identified in the lobby. The short columns in the campus building were formed due to a consecutive halved window-wall application in the classrooms and were observed to be prone to weakening. Using movable furniture, glass partitions, and racks raises the risk during the earthquake. Tables inside the room can be utilized as a temporary safe place during the earthquake. So, it is essential to use sturdy tables and ensure sufficient tables to be used as a temporary shelter during an earthquake.

This study aims to produce a OrSAEv model learning materials based on role-playing for effective disaster mitigation to improve flood disaster mitigation preparedness, identify anxiety and enjoyment in junior high school. This type of research is the four-Dodels. The research subjects were 29 students of grade VII at SMPN 2 Kalitidu. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion that has been carried out, it shows that the development of learning material are valid with the validity value of each Leson Plans 100%, Student Worksheet 98%, Student Book 94%, Test Questions 96%, Mitigation Questionnaire 100%, The Enjoyment Questionnaire 100%, and the Anxiety Questionnaire 100%. In addition, the learning tools that have been developed are also stated to be implemented measures based on the results of the implementation of the lesson plans from 3 meetings with 94.1%, 93.8% and 92.9%, respectively, for the student response questionnaire a score of 2.5 indicates that the students respond well. Student learning outcomes improve Based on the poster analysis, the criteria are quite good. The criteria for disaster mitigation simulation skills are quite good. The results of the enjoyment questionnaire showed that students did not enjoy it, while the anxiety questionnaire showed that students did not feel anxiety. Recommendations that can be given are pre-learning activities required, understanding the use of software, introduction to students about the orsaev learning model based role-playing.
