“…Since Song et al reported the first use of an anterolateral thigh (ALT) flap as a septocutaneous flap in 1984, 6 the versatile ALT flap has been widely used in the reconstruction of various defects of the head and neck 7,8 facial contour, extremities, flank, and perineum.
