This is also the case with literature in Serbia (Lukic & Hadrovic, 2019Lukic $ Kozarevic, 2021;Lukic, 2020Lukic, , 2021aLukic, ,b,c,d,e, 2022aLukic, ,b,c,d,e,f,g,h, 2023Lukic et al, 2020a,b). “…In this context, some works are dedicated exclusively to the econometric analysis of inventory in retail (Adebayo, 2017;Gaur, 2003;Gaur, 2005;Kolias, 2011;Krishnankutty, 2011;Kalan, 2020;Knežević, 2015;Masadeh, 2018 ) . In the relevant literature of Serbia, the problem of working capital and the sources of their financing of trade in Serbia were investigated (Lukić, 2011;Lukic, 2015;Lukic, 2019a,b;Lukic, 2020a,b;2021a,b, 2022a. All of them serve, in this work, as a theoretical-methodological and empirical basis for researching the issue of analysis of trade liquidity factors in Serbia in the period 2013 -2021.…”

“…It is also acceptable for consumers, who are in the focus of trade business. Knowing the size and structure of trade costs is a prerequisite for achieving (more efficient management, in addition to sales revenue) target profit.Given the importance of literature, the literature is very rich in analysis of the size and structure of trade costs ( Berenguer -Contrí, 2009;Edvardsson, 2021;Hamermesh, 2021;Krisnadewi, 2020;Malenkov, 2021;Sokolov Mladenović, 2019;Berman, 2018 ;Levy, 2019 ;Lukić, 2011Lukić, , 2020Lovreta 2021;Horobet, 2021;Gustafsson, 2021, Lukic, 2022a. The existing relevant literature in this paper serves as a theoretical-methodological and empirical basis for a complex comparative empirical analysis of total operating costs (costs of goods sold and operating costs) of trade between the European Union and Serbia (Horobet, 2021).…”
