Abstract:Traffic congestion is a major problem in cities, especially on the main roads in the Central Business District (CBD) area, as occurred on Diponegoro Road in Banda Aceh, Indonesia. This problem has economic, social, and environmental impacts, such as fuel wastage, longer travel times, and air pollution from vehicle exhaust gases.
