Abstract

He scored a high grade although he attended very few classes as mentioned in his grade report. 2 aayḫ Sayyid is one of the translators who played a key role in the translation of the Holy Qur¾ān into Amharic published in 1969. 3 The writer has so far written his MA thesis (2007) reviewing the textual legacy of aayḫ Sayyid and made his doctoral dissertation (2012) on one of his Arabic work.
