The additive effects of bioactive glasses and photobiomodulation on enhancing bone regeneration

Abstract: Bioactive glasses (BG) has been generally used in bone defects repair for its good osteoinductivity and osteoconductivity. However, the early angiogenesis of BG in the repair of large-sized bone defects may not be sufficient enough to support new bone formation, resulting in the failure of bone repair.
