Abstract: The lumbosacral radicular syndrome or sciatica is a common neurological problem characterized by pain radiating into the leg, following one of the lumbosacral nerve roots. There are several treatment options including medication, physiotherapy, transforaminal epidural steroid injections (TESIs) and disc surgery.
