B o r g s t r o m Aus den Medizinisch-chemischen lnstituten der Universitat LundlSchwedenVff. geben eine Ubersicht iiber ihre Arbeiten auf dem Gebiet der Fettresorption, wobei sie von C14-markierten Fettsauren und markiertem Glycerin ausgingen. Sie besprechen die Theorien von Pfliiger-Verzar und von Frazer, die beide niht langer als Arbeitshypothese braurnbar bleiben. Die Fettresorption ist zu kompliziert, als daD sie in einer einzigen "Theorie" beschriebpn werden konnte. Fat Resorption in the IntestinesThe authors give a review of their studies on fat resorption in whicfi they made use of C"-labelled fatty acids and labelled glycerol. They discuss the theories of Pfliiger-Verzar and of Frazer, which both are no longer suitable as a working hypothesis. Fat resorption is too complicated to be described in a single ,theory". Die Fettresorption im Darm wird i n dem 1877 gedruckten Lehrbuch der Physiologischen Chemie von Hoppe-Scyler wie folgt beschrieben: ,,Iron den Fetten wissen wir, da/3 sie durch Einwirkung von Pancreassecret und Galle in Emulsion verwandelt und theilweise jedenfalls gespaltet werden, die freien fetten Siiuren treten in Verbindung mit Alkali und befordern die feine emulsive Vcitheilung des noch unverseiften Fettes, und sofort beginnt mit diesen Wirkungen dgs Pancreassecrets und der Galle die Resorbtion des Fettes in den Chylus gleidt unter der Einmiindung des Pancreatischen Ganges in das Duodenum. Eine Verseifung kann dns Fett in der kurzen Zeit, weldze bis zur Resorption verstreicht, iiur in16 F. Sjostrand u. H. Zetterqvist, Exp. Cell Res. 1964, im Drudt. ' 8 S.
