This line was followed by Algvere (1967) and Brunette (1971) who studied the effects of light and dark adaptation on the double peaked a-wave. A relationship between the OPs and the double peaked a-wave has been disputed (Speros 8c Price 1981), and a correlation between the appearance of the oscillations and a split a-wave during postnatal development in the rabbit and the rat has been denied (Takahashi et al 1979).…”
