Textile production in the papyri: the case of private request letters

For a thorough analysis of requesting in �rivate �a�yrus letters, see my text-driven study (Κορολή 2016), which is based on a vast corpus of c. 8000 private letters on papyri and ostraca dated to the Roman (31 BC-AD 330), Byzantine (AD 330-AD 641) and early Arab periods (AD 641-AD 799) of Egypt.
