Tetracycline-incorporated Silk Fibroin Films

Abstract: Silk fibroin films incorporated with tetracycline was prepared and characterized by Fourier-transform infrared spectrometer and differential scanning calorimeter and examined antibacterial effect. The conformation of silk fibroin was changed from random coil to â sheet structure with incorporation of tetracycline.
