Tetraaquabis[(4-oxo-4H-pyridin-1-yl)acetato]manganese(II)

Abstract: In the title centrosymmetric mononuclear MnII complex, [Mn(C7H6NO3)2(H2O)4], the MnII ion, which lies on an inversion centre, has an octahedral geometry and is six‐coordinated by two carbonyl O atoms from two (4‐oxo‐4H‐pyridin‐1‐yl)acetate (4‐OPA−) anions and four water molecules.
