“…Goldfish, however, showed successful in terocular transfer after tectal commissure section when they had previously experi enced interocular transfer training with in tact brains [Ingle and Campbell, 1977;Bengston et al, 1979], Similarly, interocu lar transfer of cardiac conditioning was observed when the tectal commissure was sectioned [Yeo and Savage, 1975]. Greif and Scott [1980] did not find deficits in in terocular transfer of visual learning after tectal lesions and suggested that extratectal regions are involved in interocular transfer of learning in fish.…”
