The paper introduces a theoretical foundation for generating abstract test paths related to Petri net specifications. Based on the structure of the Petri net model of the system, we first define the notion of unobservable transition. Unless such a transition is unreachable, we prove that its firing is necessarily ensured by the firing of another transition (namely observable transition) of the Petri net. We show that the set of observable transitions is the smallest set that guarantees the coverage of all the transitions of the Petri net model, i.e., any set of firing sequences of the model, namely observable traces, involving all the observable transitions passes eventually through the unobservable transitions as well. If some unobservable transitions are mandatory to trigger the execution of a test sub-sequence, observable traces are completed with such transitions to enhance the controllability of the test scenario. In addition to structurally identifying observable (and unobservable) transitions, we mainly propose two algorithms: the first allows to generate a set of observable paths ensuring full coverage of all the system transitions. It is based on an on-the-fly construction of a hybrid graph called the symbolic observation graph. The second algorithm completes the observable paths in order to explicitly cover the whole set of system's transitions. The approach is implemented within an available prototype, and the preliminary experiments are promising.

With the rapid development of computer technology, the application of computer has penetrated into various fields, and the application of computer technology in art design has gradually increased. In order to improve the efficiency and overall level of art design, a computer-aided design system of art graphics was designed and developed based on a comprehensive analysis of the needs of art design. This article introduces the construction and implementation of computeraided design system for art graphics, including system architecture, functional structure, database design, and system function implementation. The function and performance analysis of the system shows that the computer-aided design system based on art graphics can shorten the development cycle of art design works, improve the efficiency of art design work, and facilitate the simulation and inspection of art works. Based on the requirements of art graphic design, the development of computer art graphic aided design system will not only help to improve the efficiency of art design, but also further improve the level of art design. We will conduct in-depth exploration of the development of China and provide theoretical and technical support.

Embedded systems are widely used in various devices. PRES+ (Petri net- based Representation for Embedded Systems) has been used to model and analyze embedded systems. However, it cannot characterize the priority of events, and cannot fully express the complex data flow and control flow. To solve this problem, inhibitor arcs are added to PRES+ and PIRES+ (PRES+ with Inhibitor arcs) is obtained. However, PIRES+’s state space explosion problem is a handicap when modeling, verifying, and controlling complex, large embedded systems. To mitigate the state space explosion problem of PIRES+ and analyze complex embedded systems, we propose the place refinement approach and the place set refinement approach for PIRES+. Under specific conditions, several important properties of PIRES+, such as timing, functionality, reachability, liveness, and boundedness, are preserved by using these refinement approaches. In order to illustrate the effectiveness of these refinement methods, as an example, the modeling and analysis of a network communication system is proposed. The refinement methods proposed have certain feasibility and practicability and provide a more practical theoretical basis for the modeling of some embedded systems.
