Testing a healthcare provider–patient communicative relationship quality model of pharmaceutical care in hospitals

Abstract: Four tertiary hospitals in 2017. Methods The provision of pharmaceutical care was investigated. A cross-sectional questionnaire survey covering different constructs of communicative relationship quality model was conducted and the associations among pairs of the study constructs were explored. Based on the results of confirmatory factor analysis, path analysis was conducted to validate the proposed communicative relationship quality model. Main outcome measure Model fit indicators including Tucker-Lewis index … Show more

“…Confirmatory factor analyses (CFA) on continuous variables were conducted using Mplus version 6.11 (Muthén & Muthén, Los Angels, CA, USA) to construct each known latent variable. Models were considered as well-fitting if the root mean square error of approximation (RMSEA) was <0.08, comparative fit index (CFI) was >0.95, Tucker-Lewis index (TLI) was >0.95, and standardized root mean square residual (SRMR) was = 0.08 ( Hu & Bentler, 1998 ; Wang et al, 2018 ).…”

“…Modifications were made to the hypothetical model to achieve a better-fitting and parsimonious model. Models were considered well-fitting if the weighted root mean residual (WRMR) was <0.90 ( Wang et al, 2018 ). A bootstrap test was used to test the mediating effect.…”

“…Testing the absorption of active substances in preparations is essential, especially in drug delivery systems, but it is also an important factor for industries that use active substances at relatively expensive costs (Wang et al, 2018). Encapsulation methods have been developed with the aim of protecting bioactive components, such as polyphenols, micronutrients, enzymes, and antioxidants obtained from adverse environments and accompanied by controlling release at the intended target (Dewandari et al, 2019).…”

“…This is consistent with previous research which mentions the participation behavior of pharmaceutical workers has an influence on the commitment relationships. Pharmacist participation is proven to be an important antecedent of relationship quality (Wang et al, 2018). The community has good perceptions, expectations and experiences of the role of pharmacist, in pharmaceutical services (Pratiwi, 2020).…”
