Test Study on Creep Character of Anchor Rod in Argillaceous Soft Rock

Abstract: The creep character of anchor rod in argillaceous soft rock is remarkable. The big undisturbed mudstone samples in Nanning Basin as a typical argillaceous soft rock is chosen to the research object in this paper. The laboratory simulated destructive tests and the creep tests of full grouted anchor rod have been down. Through the destructive tests of mudstone sample, the instantaneous adhesive strength between the anchor body and mudstone in Nanning Basin is 70kPa. By analyzing the creep curves of anchor rod, a… Show more

“…The rock creep mechanics test is the main method for studying the creep characteristics of rock under long-term loads. Because soft rock has significant creep characteristics, the creep characteristics of soft rock have been studied in the past (Fan et al, 2010;Li and Yang, 2018;Liu et al, 2020). At the same time, creep tests under more loading stress paths were carried out, and more rock creep results were obtained (Park et al, 2017;Li et al, 2019).…”

“…Miao et al [17] established the evolution equation and the general damage theory of frozen soil creep on the basis of the study on the creep test and its microstructure observation to depict the strengthening and weakening effects in the process of creep. However, many investigators just considered the weakening effect but lost sight of the strengthening effect when they formulated the creep models, but it is necessary to consider both the strengthening effect [18][19][20] and the weakening effect in the creep process according to the electron microscope scanning results of hardening and damage of sketch by Fan et al [21] as shown in Figure 1. Therefore, in this paper, firstly, through the triaxial creep tests of the frozen silty clay mixed with sands, the strengthening and weakening effects in the process of creep are revealed.…”
