“…Though in most reported cases the endometrial pathologic changes are those of a pure adenocarcinoma, there has been one report of an adenoacanthoma involving 1 uterine cavity. 11 Also of interest are single reported cases of uterine teratoma 12 and trophoblastic pseudotumor 13 in a septate uterus and bicornuate uterus, respectively. Review of the rather limited number of cases of adenocarcinoma reported indicates that most patients did not have simultaneous curettage of both endometrial cavities, and in one study it was found that the diagnosis of endometrial carcinoma was delayed for a period of 3 months to 3 years before it was established by curettage of the second endometrial cavity.…”
