The structure of the midget F. = 1701 keV resonance in the "C(p,y)"N reaction was restudied with a high-volume Ge(Li) detector. The (82+3)% ground state (J = 1+, T = 0) transition with the angular distribution W(8) = 1+(0.48+0.03)P,(cos8) -(0.16+0.03) P4(cos8) and the new (9+3)% branches to the 6.444-(J = 3+, T = 0) and 5.832-MeV (J = 3, T = 0) levels along with the deduced tranSition strengths lead to the new assignment of J = 3+, T = 0 for the 9.130-MeV state.
