“…The different algorithms, such as advanced automatic grouping formfinding (Thai et al, 2017) and multiply self-stress (Tran and Lee, 2011a, b), have been used to obtain one feasible set of self-stress from multiple set of self-stresses. The multiple states of self-stress property mostly founded in the domes and beams-types structures such as T-BAR structure based on multicomplexity order (Khaled et al, 2022).…”

“…Besides that, the typology is static and required in these formfindings. It is found that many structures that are formed based on the complexity order, such as T-BAR structure (Khaled et al, 2022) and dome-and gird-type structures (Tran and Lee, 2010b;Liu et al, 2023) have multiple state of self-stresses that can be converted in one state of self-stress by using the SVD method along with symmetry theory of the structure (Tran and Lee, 2011a, b), although the symmetry theory had a major role for form-finding of tensegrity structure. The symmetry theory is also used to define the stability of kinematically indeterminate pin joint structures (Yao et al, 2014), as well as contributed to studying the multistability of origami structures (Yao et al, 2023).…”

“…A recent study conducted by Khaled et al [59] explored the application of tensegrity structures for Earth and Space drilling operations. The drilling rig consists of two parts: the table and the tensegrity structure.…”
