Abstract:Characteristics of the spatial and temporal variability of tropospheric and low stratospheric temperatures of Argentina during the period 1965-1982 are investigated.Empirical orthogonal functions (EOFs) were used to obtain the main characteristics of the vertical profile of temperature in three climatic regions, and time series of the temporal coefficients are analysed as indicators of temporal variations. The results indicate that there was an almost homogeneous upward trend in summer of the tropospheric temp… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
