Temporal Informative Analysis in Smart-ICU Monitoring: M-HealthCare Perspective

Abstract: The rapid introduction of Internet of Things (IoT) Technology has boosted the service deliverance aspects of health sector in terms of m-health, and remote patient monitoring. IoT Technology is not only capable of sensing the acute details of sensitive events from wider perspectives, but it also provides a means to deliver services in time sensitive and efficient manner. Henceforth, IoT Technology has been efficiently adopted in different fields of the healthcare domain. In this paper, a framework for IoT base… Show more

“…The security necessities also were addressed in this work. Likewise, an IoT-based framework for tracking the patient's condition in ICU was introduced in [21]. Also, in [22], an ECG tracing technique in IoT context was designed, through wearable bio-sensors for direct medical data transition to the cloud storages.…”

“…For instance, a cloud‐based approach was presented in the work of Vukićević et al that combined meta‐learning framework to rank and choose the best predictive methods for big data technologies to analyze biomedical data. Moreover, Bhatia and Sood offered an IoT‐based framework for patient tracking in ICU. The authors presented a solution rely on monitoring of different events via temporal associations, besides time sensitive alert generation process.…”
