“…The increase of O species in both Co-B22 and Co-H22 is attributed to the formation of an OER active phase on the surface of cobalt, that is, hydroxide−oxyhydroxide. 59 In particular, the excellent durability of Co-B22 was prominent in the long-term stability evaluation performed using chronoamperometry at 1.6 V. 60 The current density of Co-B22 exhibited only a 22.68% degradation after continuous testing for 30 h (Figure 6h), whereas commercial IrO 2 and Co-H22 exhibited much faster degradation rates (of 44.05 and 33.92%, respectively).
