“…20,21 Our recent report conrmed polyvinyl-alcohol (PVA) matrix prevent the aggregation-caused quenching of CDs and full-color CDs/PVA phosphors showed bright uorescence, which was proved to be promising candidates for alternative light sources of LEDs. 22 Moreover, Yang's group also found similar results and they reported full-color CDs/PVA phosphors for LEDs applications. 23 Qu et al prepared full-color inorganic CDs/polymers phosphors for white LEDs.…”

“…7A). [49][50][51] Li et al investigated the reaction system of CA and urea, 52 and proposed a process similar to that of the CA and EDA system. The CA and urea polymerized to form polymer nanoparticles, and then carbonized to form the sp 2 domain in the amorphous sp 3 matrix.…”

“…Such CDs do not form a uniform film due to their colloidal dispersion nature, which leads to non‐uniform emission. One of the best workable solutions for such issues is to use the polymer matrix such as poly(vinylpyrrolidone) (PVP), or polystyrene (PS), or poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) as host and mix it with QD emitter as a guest . This host–guest strategy has been used successfully for fabricating OLEDs using CD‐based QDs as emitters .…”
