Telemetry System for Assessing Jaw-Muscle Function in Free-ranging Primates

Abstract: In vivo laboratory-based studies describing jaw-muscle activity and mandibular bone strain during mastication provide the empirical basis for most evolutionary hypotheses linking primate masticatory apparatus form to diet.
