Telehealth Nursing Effectiveness in Stroke Patients

Abstract

Background: Stroke care requires immediate assessment and treatment, to reduce the risk of death and disability. Many patients do not receive timely interventions due to lack of immediate health care expertise and specialist services.Therefore better collaboration, communication and coperation between the health care providers and the stroke patients is needed.Telehealth enabling interventions with stroke patients and nurses are considered to improve medical outcomes.
