Tele-education: Linking Educators with Learners via Distance Technology

Abstract: <p>Tele-education, also known as distance education, encompasses many methods of using technology to increase knowledge and understanding for learners in multiple locations. This article focuses on the evolution of tele-education and current methods of providing distance learning. In addition, the challenges of providing tele-education and a discussion of future possibilities, use, and needs are reviewed.</p>
