From all, 18 (34.6%) of the studies were from West Africa [ 17 , 19 , 20 , 22 , 33 , 35 – 37 , 39 , 48 , 51 – 54 , 58 , 59 , 67 , 68 ], 19 (36.5%) were from East African countries [ 12 , 13 , 15 , 16 , 18 , 21 , 23 , 24 , 29 , 30 , 32 , 38 , 40 , 42 , 44 – 46 , 69 , 70 ], 7 (13.5%) from Central Africa [ 25 , 47 , 49 , 50 , 56 , 57 , 71 ], 6 (11.5%) from Southern Africa [ 31 , 34 , 43 , 67 , 72 , 73 ] and 2 (3.8%) were from only one Northern African country (Egypt) [ 41 , 55 ].
