Abstract

Technology is the tool that connects us with each other and the repository of knowledge, past, present, and online. Digital access appears to supersede all other forms of information and knowledge storage. For learners this opens the world to other voices anywhere and anyplace. For educators their craft knowledge demands new skills and rules linked with fluid and dynamic space. The role of teacher is navigating shifting sand with traditions melting in favour of guidance towards smart thinking and cautionary decision making. Digital imprints are akin to ancient rock carvings and early transcripts. They are indelible, an archive for eternity.
