“…By combining analytical target cascading and a robust model, which can be solved with a column-and-constraint generation strategy, the robust economic dispatch problem can be used in a distributed fashion by several entities, including DNOs and MGOs. In Shahbazbegian et al., 98 the modified decomposition scheme based on ADMM is proposed to decouple the decentralized problem into master, lower-level, and upper-level problems. By doing so, the above method can enhance convergence characteristics in contrast with traditional dual decomposition.…”

“…A feasibility study is a critical planning stage, where the main objective of the microgrid system engineer is to assess the system for given parameters such as available renewable generation, energy demand, consumption patterns, and other social factors. In both studies (Bai et al, 2019;Shahbazbegian et al, 2023), a technical and economic analysis was carried out for a MEM, but little emphasis was given to modeling the solar generation forecasting. A similar issue was also seen in Kovačević Markov and Rajaković (2019), where a feasibility study was developed for a MEM.…”

“…Hydrogen can be integrated into existing gas networks [21][22][23], providing a cleaner alternative to fossil fuels for heating and industrial processes [24][25][26]. Additionally, its role in sector coupling-linking electricity, heat, and transport sectors-enhances overall system efficiency and resilience [27,28].…”
