Techno-Economic Assessment for Installation of INVELOX Wind Turbines in Northern Iran

Abstract: This paper aims to provide a comprehensive feasibility study for the installation of a 100 MW wind power plant using the INVELOX system in Manjil, Gilan, in Northern Iran. In the first part of the paper, we provide a review of the status of wind energy installation in Iran. We then review the mathematical equations involved in wind power calculations. Afterwards, with the environmental data gathered from the corresponding authorities and open-access sources, we analyzed the INVELOX system with its benefits and… Show more

“…Different types of wind turbines for harnessing wind energy is also studied recently. The use of INVELOX turbine is shown to be a good option for increased performance in some places [23]. However, as independent generations are frequently employed to complete important tasks, and maintaining a stable generation also becomes crucial [24].…”

“…There was a need to find and accept new ways to produce energy. This has led to the acceptance of unconventional energy sources such as hydro, geothermal, wind, and solar energy [3,4]. The transition from fossil fuels to a green economy has led to an increase in renewable energy sources.…”
