Technical and economic assessment of the parameters of thermal schemes of thermal power plants with a hydrogen generator

Abstract: THE PURPOSE. The study is aimed at studying the effect of fuel gases of various component composition on the environmental performance of the GE 6FA gas turbine unit. Consider using hydrogen as primary sweat to minimize emissions and improve performance of the GE 6FA gas turbine. METHODS. To achieve this goal, the ASGRET (Automated system for gas-dynamic calculations of power turbomachines) software package was used. RESULTS. The article discusses promising directions for the utilization of CO2 using highly ef… Show more

“…In addition, there are studies based on the use of thermochemical processes that require a direct coupling of a chemical plant to a nuclear reactor [30] or generally on high-temperature gas cooled reactors, even in the connection with steam methane reformation [31][32][33][34]. Recently, studies have begun to appear integrating hydrogen production plants into the technological scheme of thermal power plants [19,20,[35][36][37]. Hydrogen production by these methods is possible both at the TPP and off-site.…”
