Tearable

Abstract: We propose a novel interface called Tearable that allows users to continuously experience the real sense of tearing paper. To provide such a real sense, we measured the actual vibration data of tearing a piece of real paper and analyzed them. Based on this data, we utilized hook-and-loop fasteners and a DC motor for representing the sense of tearing.
