Team members’ perceptions of clinical psychology in an adult community mental health service

Abstract: In light of NHS restructuring, community mental health team members were interviewed about the role of clinical psychologists. Recommendations are given for maintaining valued input whilst addressing perceptions of the role of the psychologist as over-subscribed, inflexible and lacking clarity.
