Teaching of the law of god in the zemstvo primary schools in Gzhel folk craft in the 1880s

Abstract: The article deals with the teaching of the Law of God (Religious Education) in the primary schools of Gzhel traditional folk craft at the end of the XIX century, located on the territory of Bogorodsky district of Moscow province. The Law of God was a compulsory subject in all primary and secondary schools of pre-revolutionary Russia, and the process of developing the most effective methods of its teaching in primary rural schools took place at the end of XIX century.
