ÖzBu çalışmada aile içindeki yasın incelenmesi ve "Ordinary People" filmindeki karakterlerin yas süreçlerinin değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaçla çalışmada öncelikle ölüm ve yas ile ilgili kavramlar , yas türleri, yas süreci, gelişim dönemlerine göre yas tepkileri, yası belirleyen faktörler, çocuk kaybı, kardeş kaybı, yas sürecinde baş etme kanalları ve yas tedavisi üzerinde duruldu. Daha sonra, sıradan insanlar filminde yas belirtileri, yas süreci, yası belirleyen faktörler, yas tipleri ve karakterlerin yas süreciyle başa çıkma yolları ayrı ayrı değerlendirildi.Çalışmada yapılan değerlendirmeler sonucunda "Ordinary People" filmindeki karakterlerin normal ve patolojik yas tepkilerini gösterdikleri, gelişim dönemlerine göre farklı yas türlerine sahip oldukları ve farklı baş etme kanallarını kullandıkları gözlemlenmiştir. Filmin analizinin, yas anlayışında ve uygun başa çıkma yöntemlerinin kullanımında alana katkı sağlayacağı düşünülmektedir.
AbstractIn this study, it was aimed to examine the mourning in the family and to evaluate the mourning process of the characters in the 'Ordinary People' movie. For this purpose, first of all, concepts related to death and mourning, types of mourning , mourning process, mourning reactions according to developmental periods, factors determining mourning, the loss of a child , the loss of a brother, ways of coping with mourning process and mourning treatment were touch on.Then, signs of mourning, mourning process, factors determining mourning, types of mourning and ways to cope with mourning process of the characters in the Ordinary People movie were evaluate individually. As a result of the evaluations made in the study, it was observed that the characters in the Ordinary People movie showed normal and pathological mourning reactions, they had different mourning types according to their developmental periods and they used different ways of coping with mourning. It is thought that the analysis of the film will contribute to the field in the understanding of mourning and the use of appropriate coping methods.
