Abstract:the ISBN-13 has become "the ISBN"; publishers should no longer use ISBN-10. ISBN-13 starts with 978-, has the first nine digits of the old ISBN-10 next, and ends with a new check digit.You can not remove the 978-and obtain the ISBN-10, as the check digits differ.
