“…Psychological wellbeing and turnover intention have a negative relationship that means the lower the PWB, the higher the turnover intention is going to be. The result of this study extended theories that assert negative association between psychological well-being and quitting intention from job and organization on millennial employees (Mcinerney, Korpershoek, Wang, & Morin, 2018). “…Meanwhile, the emotional side of teaching has been widely recognized and emotion-rich interactions between teachers and students are believed to be critical for students' academic achievements and social and emotional learning. Empirically, forms of negative affect such as anxiety, depression, and worrying have been found to impede working memory and performance (McInerney et al, 2018;Owens, Stevenson, Hadwin, & Norgate, 2012), whereas forms of positive affect such as passion and enthusiasm are positively related to job performance and efficacy (McInerney et al, 2018). Therefore, investigating how teachers' affective well-being may influence their efficacy for classroom teaching should be a promising way to understand teacher efficacy.…”

“…Similar policy-focused attention does not appear to be mirrored at a government-level in other English-speaking countries (e.g., Canada, the United States). Nonetheless, teacher well-being is an issue relevant to many other education contexts across the globe (e.g., United States, Hong Kong; Gallup, 2014;McInerney et al, 2018), and there are many commonalities in the demands and resources experienced by teachers worldwide (e.g., Fackler and Malmberg, 2016;Dicke et al, 2018;Skaalvik and Skaalvik, 2018). Thus, the results of the current study have the potential to provide knowledge for practice and research for teachers, schools, and educational systems internationally.…”
