Abstract:Two newly proposed gyro-device interaction circuits, the high order TEOn mode-selective clusteredcavity and extended interaction cavity, have been studied. The results of HFSS code simulation and relevant calculations show that applying these two kinds of cavities to gyroklystron and other cavity-related gyroamplifiers as interaction circuit, could broaden their operation bandwidth up to 3-8% at megawatt power level and millimeter wave frequencies. A 4-unit cluster has been employed in the design as a wideband… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
