This study objective to verify the existence of gaps in the dynamics and performance of fulfillment of the deinstitutionalization of psychiatric care in the Czech Republic (CZ) and the Slovak Republic (SR) in the period between 2010 and 2020. The introduction of this the study is a search for expert knowledge in the field of deinstitutionalization of psychiatric care. The study uses the method of multi-criteria comparison of TOPSIS variants and a cluster analysis. The results 22 variants range from (ci 0.6716-0.2571) and confirm that there are large differences between CZ and SR in performance gaps (fulfillment) of deinstitutionalization goals. The SR variants are clearly better than the CZ variants, although during the years studied, the CZ variants are improving, and the size of the gap compared to the SR variants is decreasing. In the first year of the evaluated period (2010), the performance gap was 56% and in the last year (2020), the performance gap was only 31%. The conclusion of the study confirms that the measures associated with the deinstitutionalization of psychiatric care are linked to the time they were introduced and the overall implementation period of the reform.

Organizational Barriers of a Knowledge-Based Organization in the Aspect of Sustainable Creativity Development

The turbulence of the organizations’ environment significantly affects the functioning of creative knowledge-based organizations. Changes that occur in this broadly understood environment are often unpredictable, so it is impossible to prepare for them. Therefore organizations must creatively use their knowledge in their response to these changes. Bearing the above in mind, the issue of organizational barriers of sustainable creativity development in knowledge based organizations seemed to be worth the research effort. The paper analyses, synthesizes and compares the theory (regarding the essence of a knowledge-based organization, the sustainable development of creativity in organizations and the barriers that hinder this development), processes empirical data, verifies hypotheses, and provides conclusions and suggestions for knowledge based organizations (both those taking up and not taking creative activities) regarding the minimization of barriers affecting the sustainable development of creativity. The empirical analysis uses the Spearman correlation coefficient, Chi-square test, Mann-Whitney test, W Wilcoxon’s test and simple rotation factor analysis. The results of the research showed significant differences in the following barriers of sustainable creativity development: lack of knowledge on the organization’s vision, goals and plans, poor financial condition of the organization, and fear to present own ideas. Subsequently, with use of appropriate statistical apparatus, the 28 primarily defined barriers were turned out to into the six heterogeneous category – groups of the barriers limiting the sustainable development of creativity in knowledge-based organizations. The results of the study made it possible to identify areas the improvement of those may allow for more effective development of the organization in the scope presented in the paper. The article ends with recommendations that respond to the barriers with the strongest negative impact on the sustainable creativity development.

Organizations nowadays are increasingly using a nondisclosure agreement to protect against the dissemination of certain information by employees. However, such methods have not always been successful, especially since a pandemic. Therefore, the aim of the article is to present the main trust factors. Identification of trust-building factors in the organization in order to increase efficiency and reduce indirect costs, as well as conduct theoretical analysis on this topic. Design/methodology/approach: The synthesis method and the analytical and comparative concept of building staff motivation were used. The theoretical analysis in the text is based on research that can be found in Polish, English and Russian literature. Findings:The article shows that by engaging the right disciplines it become possible to achieve absolute trust, which in turn serves as the key to effective work. Research limitations/implications: Building an atmosphere of trust begins with ways of learning, sharing information and knowledge while meeting the needs of the trusted person. Therefore, in future research on trust in the area of management, it is necessary to take into account the point of view of the related disciplines mentioned in the article. Social implications: A conscious desire to build organizational trust leads to an increase in work efficiency and a decrease in corrupt practices. Ultimately, this will lead to increased meaning of trust in business.Originality/value: A model of trust levels and their impact on work performance has been developed. The article can be used by the management as a guide to creating employee motivation systems.
