RESUMO:A mosca-do-figo caracteriza-se por ser uma das principais pragas da cultura do figo. Este trabalho tem por objetivo analisar a emergência da mosca-do-figo em diferentes substratos e situações, em nova região de ocorrência no Estado do Rio Grande do Sul. Adultos da mosca-do-figo foram encontrados e identificados em frutos em decomposição de butiá, citros e jabuticaba nos municípios de Constantina e Novo Xingu, em setembro de 2011. Frutos de butiá, citros e jabuticaba, em duas situações, foram coletados e acondicionados em recipientes para obtenção de adultos da mosca-do-figo; posteriormente, em março de 2012, frutos de figo foram coletados para comparação entre as emergências de adultos. Frutos de figo apresentaram maior emergência. Frutos sobre o chão apresentaram maior emergência do que frutos fixados na planta. É o primeiro registro de ocorrência da mosca-do-figo para a região Fisiográfica do Alto Uruguai no Estado do Rio Grande do Sul.
