Tasman Epiphanies: The 'Participant History' of Alan Ward

Abstract: The article discusses the history and life of Alan Dudley Ward, a Kiwi and Pacific historian, to better understand the influence of significant Trans- Tasman individuals who operated easily within an expanded Tasman world. Land appears to be the key focus of values and aspirations of people of the Tasman world.
