В статье авторы представали ключевые аспекты развития транспортной системы Монголии до 2050 года, которые будут являться залогом долгосрочного экономического сотрудничества между Россией и Китаем. Активное участие в данном сотрудничестве станет важным шагом развития Монголии, которая намерена стать транзитной страной. Авторы определили общий транспортный статус страны. Рассмотрели вопросы необходимости строительства новых железнодорожных линий, расширения и модернизации существующего инфраструктурного комплекса железных дорог, создания транспортных логистических центров. In the article, the authors presented the key aspects of the development of Mongolia's transport system until 2050, which will be the key to long-term economic cooperation between Russia and China. Active participation in this cooperation will be an important step in the development of Mongolia, which intends to become a transit country. The authors determined the general transport status of the country. The issues of the need to build new railway lines, expand and modernize the existing infrastructure complex of railways, and create transport logistics centers were considered.
