Task coalition formation and self‐adjustment in the wireless sensor networks

Abstract: SUMMARYCoalition is an essential mechanism in the multi-agent systems in the research of task-oriented area. Selfinterested agents coordinate their behaviors in a coalition to pursue a common goal and obtain payoffs. We propose the clustering-based coalition formation and self-adjustment mechanisms for tasks in the wireless sensor network. Before coalition formation, the management center clusters attributes of sensors to reduce the scale of searching space during coalition formation. And then an improved MAX-… Show more

“…According to the real-time speed data, the evacuation area can be described by different colors as Figure 2 The plan 1 A is the best one which can be get maximum rewards from the chlorine leakage accident evacuation though the emergency evacuation task allocation algorithm based on the EV-GAP. And we make an experiment with the task allocation plans includes 1 A , 2 A , 3 A for the chlorine leakage accident by MATSim(Multi-Agent Transport Simulation Toolkit) [18][19] at AM8:00, PM16:00 and PM24:00 in one day. The simulation results are shown in Figure 3, Figure 4 and Figure 5.…”

“…Paper [2] proposed a distributed parallel multi-task allocation algorithm among self-organizing and self-learning agents. And paper [3] discussed the clustering-based coalition formation and self-adjustment mechanisms for tasks in the wireless sensor network. Moreover, paper [4] designed a mathematical model for balanced multi-robot task allocation problem based on K-means clustering and auction based mechanisms.…”

“…Further, the channel security in multiple ad hoc units depends upon the amount of network reparability offered, organizational time consumed, and modifications required. The guided network must have the ability to self‐organize and adapt to the concurrent changes that occur during data transfers . These changes can be either logical changes dealing with connections and data or physical changes dealing with node localization.…”
